Former San Jose Sting Gold player and current University of Pacific Sophomore Brittney Hendrickson has been creating havoc for opposing teams with her full layout diving catches, lightning speed on the base paths and her .320+ batting average. Either way the vocal leader of the Tigers has been getting better as the season goes. The Valley Christian HS alumnus from San Jose,CA is probably the most determined player you will ever meet. Last year after a hot start, Brittney injured her knee and tried to play through it but it was just too difficult. After the season, she had her knee worked on and rehabillitated it through the rest of the year . Determined not only that she was going to get back her starting spot but to be an impact player and help the Tigers get into the playoffs. A very good Weight lifting program and extra hitting has made her into a major force on the team and playoffs could be very well insight for the Tigers. Currently batting .316 after playing one of the toughest D1 schedules so far this season. It seems that Brittney is well recovered and making everyone very proud of her . We will keep you posted of Brittney's progress. For the Pacific website , click here http://pacifictigers.cstv.com/sports/w-softbl/paci-w-softbl-body.html
