What is your favorite/most helpful softball drill that you do?
I don't think there is just one drill that I have found most helpful.  As a catcher I practice blocking, digging out pitches from the dirt, framing the ball, popping up quickly for foul balls, etc.  I am very lucky to have Haley Woods, former Cal Berkeley player and 2006 national Division I Diamond Sports Catcher of the Year as a coach.  I have learned a a lot from her about pitch selection and game strategies that only come from her experience behind the plate.

What is your favorite/most helpful softball drill that you do?
The most helpful softball drill for me is the step and lunge I do while warming up my pitching. Pretty much all I do is walk into the pitch with one step then lunge out as far as I can. This helps me to see how fast I should be throwing during a normal pitch and it helps to loosen up my whole body. I like doing this drill because it puts all of my power into the pitch and forces me to use every part of my body.
