San Jose Sting

Jessica Abelia will sign a National Letter of Intent next month to play for Sonoma State University and Head coach Jaime Wallin this fall.  The Dynamite Senior shortstop from Elk Grove,CA plays for Franklin High School, the 2006 Sac-Joaquin Section D1 Champions where she has been a 4 year varsity starter at SS and has been named First Team All League every year she's played. Before arriving to play for Sting, Jessica played for her father, Gabe Abelia of the California Flames where she helped lead her team to "A" Nationals every year with several top 20 finishes including a 4th place finish in 2005. Jessica is a 4.0 student and has received many academic honors and awards. She plans to possibly major in Business . Gabe and Sally Abelia are the proud parents of Jessica and Gabriel.
