Accomplishment: The Harvard-bound infielder led the Gators to four victories last week as Castilleja clinched its fourth consecutive West Bay Athletic League title. The left-handed-hitting leadoff batter went 11 for 11 with six home runs, two doubles, a triple, 14 RBIs and 12 runs. For the season, Alexander is 41 for 51 and leading the state with an .804 batting average, according to Maxpreps.com. "Jane is very aggressive at the plate," Gators Coach Alex Sutton said. "She is a line-drive hitter who hits the ball hard. I make sure to stay way back in the coaching box to protect myself. We don't play in the toughest league, but Jane would be completely fine if she played in any league in our section."

Jane was also last weeks Palo Alto Daily News Athlete of the Week last week.
