• The Pioneer Valley League's top hitter (.513) had a huge role in the Bruins' Division IV section title run.

ALLIE CRUMP: Pitcher-Inf., Elk Grove, Sr.

• Had a 0.32 ERA, tops in the Delta Valley League. Will pitch on scholarship at Boise State in 2009.

PAIGE EMERSON: Inf.-Outfielder, Rocklin, Sr.

• She led the Sierra Foothill League in batting average (.528) and RBIs (23) for the champion Thunder.

GABBY GOYETTE: Outfielder, Oak Ridge, So.

• Hit a Sierra Valley Conference-best .490; helped her team to its second consecutive D-II section title.

SIMONE HEYWARD: Pitcher-OF Rosemont, So.

• The Metro Conference MVP batted .614, hit five homers and made just two errors.

ADRIANA MARTINEZ: Infielder, Woodcreek, Sr.

• Hit .500, second-best in the Sierra Foothill League, and compiled a fielding percentage of .927.

ALYSSA NAKKEN: Pitcher-Inf., Woodland, Sr.

• Key reason the Wolves won their first Division III section title. She hit .519 and struck out 189.

SHANNON O'BRIEN: Shortstop-2B, St. Francis, Sr.

• She had team highs in batting average (.511), on-base percentage (.551) and steals (17).

ALEXA RIVERA: Infielder, Sheldon, Sr.

• Had the game-winning RBI in the Division I section title game and batted .456 this season.

KELLY SHEPARD: Pitcher-OF, Bear River, Sr.

• Compiled a 27-3 record, hit .416 and helped lead the Bruins to a second consecutive D-IV title.

MEGAN SUITOS: Outfielder, Elk Grove, Sr.

• Arguably the best defensive outfielder in the area. She earned a scholarship to Boise State.

LINDSEY ZIEGENHIRT: Catcher, Sheldon, Jr.

• A second consecutive All-Metro first team pick, she led the Delta River League with 47 RBIs.
